I relate so heavily with a lot of what you have said about how you were seen as an inspirational, feminist, brave woman, and the privileges you experienced compared to most women being something that kept you trapped in the closet. I could have written those paragraphs about myself - and I absolutely can say that the way people have perceived me as a "successful woman" has been a huge part of why I struggled with my gender identity for so long (and still experience imposter syndrome around it).
